Let me set the scene a million teens ago When life was tough but times were slow A place where even demons fear to tread Lived a girl on Russell Street With pale white skin and shattered dreams She'd seen things she was far too young to see In this girl there lived a flame A flickering light did remain A tigress waiting to be tamed Her chrysalis filled with life again And the melody flow right through her veins pumped by the rhythmn of her heart in time As her hips start swinging her soul was swimming free Rum pum pums Won't you please please believe me She's been let down and deceived before But she didn't realise she was heaven sent Believe me when I say to you That this girls heart was pure and true From the pavement grew an angel of the street So she wondered around from town to town From sofa to sofa lounge to lounge This misled princess lost her crown on her way down from heaven when she hit the ground so she hitched a ride with a treble cleff a double bass and the rhythmn section as they start to play her soul was swimming free Rum pum pums Won't you please please believe me She's been let down and deceived before But she didn't realise she was heaven sent Believe me when I say to you That this girls heart was pure and true From the pavement grew an angel of the street So they bought a van and toured the land From to pub to club, north to south Their music spread like infection every time they played every time she sung So she took to the stage almost everyday No matter how small the party how much the pay her hips were swinging her soul was swimming free Rum pum pums Won't you please please believe me She's been let down and deceived before But she didn't realise she was heaven sent Believe me when I say to you That this girls heart was pure and true From the pavement grew an angel of the street In the end came along a friend To take care of her be her confident Be the one she wants to dream of everyday Believe me when I say to you That this girls heart was pure and true From the pavement grew an angel of the street

Here's a tale of boy meets girl A tragedy meets fairytale A prevailing wind against which they were travelling A love which once did overflow Into oceans of dreams upon which they did float evaporating into millions of memories They woke up one day everything had changed All the colours that surround them were going grey And the leave they leave and the clouds they'd blown away Deep in the belly where the love remains here A wise man told me love is never wasted You can never change this love will never taste the same Let go, of the rope, That binds you to this love of mine I'll see you on the other side There's hope, on the horizon Let go of this love of mine The curtains close, we'll end the show Choose your road and make it known Take a bow and stand up proud and turn right round lift yourself right off the ground Here's to new beginnings New beginnings New beginnings New beginnings New beginnings, skies the limit The bubble did burst when it hit the surface And the journey itself felt totally worth it So cast of your clothes and find a new home for your heart The season did change once more again On this woeful winter we did howl and sing As the chorus came we thawed in warmth of the spring. Let go, of the rope, That binds you to this love of mine I'll see you on the other side there's hope, on the horizon Let go of this love of mine I'll see you on the other side Let go, of the rope, That binds you to this love of mine I'll see you on the other side There's hope, on the horizon Let go of this love of mine The curtains close, we'll end the show Choose your road and make it known Take a bow and stand up proud and turn right round lift yourself right off the ground Here's to new beginnings New beginnings New beginnings New beginnings New beginnings skies the limit With new beginnings

It all begins at half past 4. With bugle in hand at Gard Du Nord. Line 2 west to park monceu. Drop the bags in a mouldy room. Where we three sit with cups of tea. Pass the time & shoot the breeze. Collect your camera and guitar. Quash your fears, be shameless if you dare.. Marcel Ayme & the hopping man. the writer and an olympiad. The tourist and the troubador. Crumpled maps and minor chords. Filled the square with not much room. In the arse end of the afternoon. Where lovers stroll and hands they hold. Round sacre ceur, loose inabitions if you dare. Fete de la music, everyone is laughing everybody's dancing, everyone is plastered in Paris. Fete de la music everyone is plastered laughing everybody's dancing, everyone is plastered in Paris. Flirting with Librarians, Osama Bin gardening in Notra Dam. Wonder down Canal St Martin, public displays of affection. Til we get to rue de courcelles (cor-sell) spiral up 7 flights of stairs. There doesn't seem to be anybody there. No locks on the toilets so use them if you dare. Fete de la music, everyone is laughing everybody's dancing, everyone is plastered in Paris. Fete de la music everyone is plastered laughing everybody's dancing, everyone is plastered in Paris.

Lack Of Tact 02:41
I put one hand on the small upon your back Move slowly down as I reach around feel your beautiful ass crack And I take it back if I show lack of tact and taste it's you and me girl it's us against the rest. Take my hand don't turn around forget your plans Look track of time tonight your mine so just relax And I take it back if I show a lack of tact I didn't mean to act like that When all I really wanna do is make you smile smile smile I wanna dance, the night away And if you'd let me I'd love to stay I wanna dance, the night with you And if you'd let me I'd love to Let me I'd love to Let me make love to you. Let me take you on a trip down lovers lane But pack your things as we may not be back again And I take it back if I show a lack of Je ne sais quoi it's you and me girl on a journey to the stars I wanna dance, the night away And if you'd let me I'd love to stay I wanna dance, the night with you And if you'd let me I'd love to Let me I'd love to Let me make love to you. As we closer for the last dance of the night Settle down put your arms around me hold me tight As I realise as your bodies next to mine You're the only one I dream of all the time the only one I really wanna make smile smile smile You're the only one I really wanna make smile smile smile You're the only one I really wanna make smile smile smile I wanna dance, the night away And if you'd let me I'd love to stay I wanna dance, the night with you And if you'd let me I'd love to Let me I'd love to Let me make love to you.

So there once was a man called Sir Laugh Alot He laughed so hard that he couldn't stop A 10 tonne chuckle that he'd rather not A machine gun giggle so inappropriate He has special needs that won''t fit in your tick box He's a little bit different when it comes to the norm A tangle in his cortex since the day he was born Sold down the river almost everyone A lunatic, a mentalist he's having fun He's quite happy when in his own company SOOO if you see him in your neighbourhood You could befriend him do some good Don't be offended or surprised If he laughs up in your face n walks right by But know your kindness never goes unnoticed His words they blur out of focus Coz he couldn't stop x2 La-haha-fing He needs to get a job coz his benefits cuts Can't get a job because he laughs too much The job seekers they told him to shut fuck up Racking up the debts now he's down on his luck He's not a benefit cheat but he is a bit stuck. SOOO if you see him in your neighbourhood You could befriend him do some good Don't be offended or surprised If he laughs up in your face n walks right by But know your kindness never goes unnoticed His words they blur out of focus Coz he couldn't stop x2 La-haha-fing With a heart so large barely room to breath He's been put down n a shut down isn't stupid or weak Like a child he dreams of simplar times Swings in the park and of nursery rhymes He's got dignity and a smile upon his face SOOO if you see him in your neighbourhood You could befriend him do some good Don't be offended or surprised If he laughs up in your face n walks right by But know your kindness never goes unnoticed His words they blur out of focus Coz he couldn't stop x2 La-haha-fing

Sometimes I need reminding Who am I inside my skin And life has it's own timing So I fight and I climb this mountain so high Til I burst through the clouds for the first time in my life See the world laid out for me I catch sight of how things are meant to be all in good time First there was the sunshine Then there was the moonlight Then there was your smiling face Amongst the things that I like You're the one that I like Sometimes I need reminding Even I am a beautiful being And Life has it's own timing So I fight and I climb this mountain so high Til I burst through the clouds for the first time in my life See the world laid out for me I catch sight of how things are meant to be all in good time First there was the sunshine Then there was the moonlight Then there was your smiling face Amongst the things that I like First there was the sunshine Then there was the moonlight Then there was your smiling face Amongst the things that I like You're the one I like x 2

Down in the valley where the day was breaking The pale sun fell on the infant Rhein And we bold foreign knights saw New Beginnings Here in the Oberland of Liechtenstein And when we came (and when we came) Our hearts were full We beheld the land wide-eyed with wonder We spent the day in raptures and we ended up in Eschen Where we danced all night to the Liechtensteiner Polka We saw a lady there she was out walking And so I asked her where to waste some time Three hours after and we were both singing in the Black Pearl With the angels and the mountains watching by And when she sang (and when she sang) Our hearts were full All around the room was grace and laughter Though I cannot recall how that sweet melody was named well In my head it was the Liechtensteiner Polka When February came we saw the carnival And the streets were filled with noise and cheer I saw my darling in the garden of the Red House on my way home And though it was late I stopped a moment there And as we spoke (and as we spoke) Our hearts were full (our hearts were full) I could hear the Triesenberg Wildmandli Gugga But behind the raucous brass and drums Well we could hear another song Good lord, you know it was that famous polka Good lord, you know it was that famous polka That is the Liechtensteiner Polka, mein Schatz Polka mein Schatz, Polka mein Schatz x2 As the night grew on and I grew tired you see I faltered As the day came I had no strength to stand For want of any better words, to fill the growing silence I asked my love the history of her land She said: 'there was a prince in Austria Who bought Vaduz and Schellenberg To punch his weight in the Holy Roman Empire This noble land on alpine heights Of farmhands and financiers Would tempt the love of the band Opaque' And when they played (and when they played) Our hearts were full (our hearts were full) We danced and sang on that 10th of October And every Liechtensteiner from Ruggell down to Balzers Danced along to their Liechtensteiner Polka Danced along to their Liechtensteiner Polka Under the Rhein bridge there lies a raw deer's kidney Under the Rhein bridge we danced all night

Sometime you need to walk alone Down the only road you've ever known Search a bit deeper in your heat Look deeper in your soul And don't ever let it go Sometimes you need to take stock Of who you are and what you've got Coz you could loose it in a shot If thats the best hand that you've got You're about to loose the lot If that's the story of your life May be it's time to compromise If that's the story of your life Give yourself a break once in a while If that's the story of your life It's for you to decide If thats the story of your life Plenty pages left to write We're all learning til we die x 8 It's all gone higgledy piggledy x 5 Sometimes you need to go back and find The shattered fragments left behind With precious memories intertwined Yes you're running out of time & you'll get one chance at this life Sometimes you need to Look Back At who you are and where it's at And may be clean up on your act And stop acting like a twat What d'ya think to that If that's the story of your life May be it's time to compromise If that's the story of your life Give yourself a break once in a while If that's the story of your life It's for you to decide If thats the story of your life plenty pages left to write We're all learning til we die It's all gone higgledy piggledy

Lady Grey 04:16
I'm not the same old me anymore I'm not the same old me I was before I'm not the same old me that I used to be And life goes by so slowly but at such a speed As we jump through the summer fall into the autumn I can see a hint and a glint of the winter months around the corner The black bird crows it's lonely song It won't be long before I'm gone Oh lady grey I held you close you vanished in a puff of smoke coz letting go's not something that comes easy to me coz letting go's not something that comes easy As you cradle in the arms of a mystical grey lady And letting go's not something that comes easy to me. (Instrumental) coz letting go's not something that comes easy As you cradle in the arms of a mystical grey lady coz letting go's not something that comes easy to me. I'm not the same old me anymore I'm not the same old me I was before I'm not the same old me that I used to be What once was now becomes a faded memory As I jump from the summit n fall into the water I can see a reflection of the man that I oughta be I oughta nurture. Entwined within the lines of a new found future Breaking every chain n ripping up the anchor With weary arms that grasp and clamber Once upon a time's welcome here now longer coz letting go's not something that comes easy to me coz letting go's not something that comes easy As you cradle in the arms of a mystical grey lady coz letting go's not something that comes easy to me coz letting go's not something that comes easy As you cradle in the arms of a mystical grey lady coz letting go's not something that comes easy to me. I'm not the same old me anymore

A trillion twinkling stars set to a background of dappled moonlight. Bathed in endless beauty in every living thing in which we delight, An appreciation of the wholesome that holds in love and truth tonight. Sometimes you just need a friend to tell everything's gonna be alright, right? Sometimes you just need someone to kiss you in the middle of the night night... With confusion a rife and a lost sense of purpose, What is the worth of a smile from my true love in the morning glory for us. A warm fire and a blanket with friendship music and dancing, and laughter forever-after til the end we must cast away. Our doubts and our fears, for in fear of losing what we did not ever come nearly never so close to. Could i fly off into the distance never to be seen again? Never to be dreamed again? And lost in the abyss of the nearly forgotten dreams of man, And for this only you can be true to your essence In any sense of what kinda man u wanna play With these minor chords in this master plan. The present is a gift that's wrapped up in the future so - Open up my brother, feels better comprehension, Breath deep n always mention when you're in need of some attention, Never let go of integrity it'll guide you in the dark (times). Test the man you want to be Who you possibly could be Love strong when it is heavenly It's meant to be it's meant to be Let go of the load when it's draining you of energy A price to pay for fucking up n ignorance n apathy Love the ones who care for you, They're the ones who'll guide you through Confusion breeds, the modern mans disease Swimming in a sea, of uncertainty With waves of envy and technology To keep him company Is leaving me, confused beyond belief A pic 'N' mix bag of ideology Confusion on the planet, pollution of the spirit Is going on around y'know we're livin in it You could be a beacon, i'd follow in a minute Let go, let go let go let go A life time for the right time Leaves me breathless unless I stress less I confess this i made mess N failed your tests n got distressed, N so confused such a pessimist And with this twisted list Of opportunities missed Of hopes been dashed Against the rocks I'm feeling lost at sea With confusion , confusion of a modern man The present is a gift that's wrapped up in our future so Open up my brother , feels better ,comprehension Breath deep n always mention when you're in need of some attention Never let go of integrity will guide you in the dark times Guide you in the dark times Guide you in the dark times Confusion on the planet, pollution of the spirit Is going on around y'know we're livin in it You could be a beacon, i'd follow in a minute Let go, let go let go let go So I wonder over yonder where the kind ones sleep the night And I spy a web of lies unfold as songbirds take their flight For I am stripping inhibitions with a sense of do or die And I feel the need to heal those deeds before the time has passed me by I wish I had a better grip on how to be a modern man A revolution is long overdue, i'm doing what I can For with a heart of gold and a hand to hold I could stand the length of time But i lost what I was looking for back when it all began There's way too too much confusion for a modern man Way too too much confusion for a modern man!

I put the past behind me so it will remind me of the places I've been And I look to the future and I can see beautiful dreams coming over the hill And I won't be afraid and I won't be a slave to things I can't change Coz I'm willing to take most of the blame for my mistakes There are some things you can't change x 4 Without a little belief May I please take this moment to be honest and open and be silent and still Coz this road that I've chosen is showing me all of it's glory and all of it's woe And I won't be afraid and I won't be a slave to things I can't change Coz I'm willing to take most of the blame for my mistakes There are some things you can't change x 4 Without a little belief I don't wanna shout about it But I gotta let it out I'm not saying that i'm perfect But I need to feel I'm worth it Not get wrapped up in my pity In this God forsaken city Where I yearn for love and empathy will set you free wrap your arms around me please There are some things you can change x 4 With a little belief
